With utmost humility and reverence to the Supreme Godhead, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, the Sole Spiritual Head of the Universe, and His Christ, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, the King of kings and Lord of lords, Leader Unified Universal Theocratic Council and Head of Administration, BCS Worldwide,

We, the leadership of the Association of Brotherhood Academic Scholars (ABAS), Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic Chapter, and the Central Planning Committee, on behalf of our members, hereby announce the postponement of the Chapter’s 28th Anniversary Celebration, which was scheduled to hold from Thursday, 12th to Sunday, 15th February 2026.

This decision is in strict compliance with the recent directive of the State Administrator, as communicated in the official memorandum issued by the ABAS Akwa Ibom State Secretariat, suspending all capital-intensive and statewide activities for the first quarter of 2026 in order to focus all preparations for the forthcoming BCS Universal Mega Event billed to hold in April at the world headquarters, 34 Ambo, Calabar.

We regret the extensive preparations already made by the Committee and sincerely appreciate the enthusiasm and commitment demonstrated by ABASites toward making the anniversary celebration a memorable one. However, in alignment with the State leadership and in obedience to the directive, we are constrained to defer the event at this time.

A new date for the celebration will be communicated in due course.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience this postponement may cause and humbly solicit your understanding, cooperation, and continued support.

May the peace and blessings of our God, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu abide with you all, now and forevermore. Amen.
